Gemas podem ser inseridas em itens com encaixes para dar as propriedades do item mágico.
Uma vez que a gema foi inserida em um item, ele não pode ser removido.
Uma jóia inserido não será afectado por uma Gem Shrine.
Existem cinco tipos de gemas:
lascado, imperfeito, normal, perfeito, e perfeito.
Existem sete tipos de gemas:
ametista, diamante, esmeralda, rubi, safira, topázio, e do crânio.
A gema inserido pela primeira vez em um item irá determinar a cor do item.
Pedras preciosas estão disponíveis apenas fornecedores na cidade, se um personagem em um jogo multiplayer já vendeu uma jóia para o vendedor.
Se o tipo diferente de pedras preciosas são inseridos em uma arma, o ataque será exibida aleatoriamente variam entre os efeitos causados pela gema, apesar de a arma ser atacar com todos os efeitos que lhe foi dada pelas pedras, ao mesmo tempo.
Clássico DII
- Helms só, escudos e armas podem ser socketed
- O número máximo de soquetes que um leme pode ter é de 2
- O número máximo de soquetes que escudos e armas pode ter é de 3
Expansão DII
- Helms, Shields, armas e armaduras podem ser socketed
- Elmos, armaduras e escudos pode ter 1-4 tomadas
- As armas podem ter 1-6 tomadas
